NotebookLM has launched Discover Sources, which lets you add sources from the web to your notebook. Import with one click to build your notebook faster. Free for all users.

NotebookLM's new Discover Sources feature streamlines research by allowing users to quickly find and import web-based materials into their notebooks. By describing a topic, users receive a curated selection of up to 10 relevant sources, each with a summary highlighting its relevance. One-click importing integrates these sources with NotebookLM’s existing tools, such as note-taking, citation, and AI-generated summaries. The feature leverages AI to analyze and prioritize high-quality sources, making it ideal for students, researchers, or anyone gathering information. A playful 'I'm Feeling Curious' option introduces new users to the tool by suggesting random topics. Free for all users, Discover Sources enhances productivity by reducing manual research time, enabling faster comprehension of new subjects. It’s currently rolling out globally.
